Standard Services Overview
Midwest Info Systems has been building and managing client networks for over 30 years, we grew up in the days of shared processing, main frame computers and dumb terminals. We saw the dawn of distributed processing with the personal computer and have been learning to adapt to changes in scale and modality ever since. The traditional IT support model for most of those 30+ years has been a break/fix model in which you as the client only call us when something “breaks” and then we come out and “fix” it. This reactive model of IT support is slowing giving way to the more proactive Managed Service approach, however, there is still and we believe will always be some level of break/fix in our industry. In addition, many of your IT needs are one time setup, installation and configuration type services. These services fall under our traditional service model. At Midwest we are fully engaged and available to handle any day to day issues that pop up unexpectedly. We pride ourselves on our quick response and high level of customer service. We provide the following types of standard services that are billed on an as needed hourly basis.
- User maintenance: new users, name changes, disabling users after termination, etc…
